The idea is simple: give potential clients a clear picture of who you are and what you do. We create a short introduction video for your homepage, showing your practice, your working environment and the experience clients can expect when they visit. The goal is to give you a complete photo and video library that helps people understand your business before they contact you. Style & Approach I recommend inviting two or three people who genuinely look like your typical clients. They can be existing or former clients, friends, or people you know who are happy to participate. Think about how you choose a specialist for yourself: your GP, dentist, accountant, mortgage broker, financial adviser or lawyer. We all do it: we look at someone and, often before we’ve read much about them, we already have a feeling : “I could trust this person!” The people appearing in your video should represent the people you actually want to welcome into your practice. They don’t need acting experience. I’ll guide everyone through the scenes to make the interactions feel comfortable and natural. There are two ways we can organise the shoot. We can film the video first and then move on to photography, or alternate between photography and video throughout the session. Preparation & Setup Before filming, we’ll have a planning meeting to discuss your business, the key messages and the scenes we want to create. We’ll also discuss wardrobe, not only yours and your team’s, but also what your invited clients are planning to wear. The shoot will take place at your workplace, whether that’s a clinic, office, studio or coworking space. Whenever possible, I like to visit the location beforehand to understand the space, lighting and filming opportunities. On the day of filming, please make sure your space is spotless. Think of it this way: your practice should look like it’s being nominated for the Best Office in Australia. Travel & Parking A travel fee applies for locations more than 40 minutes from Melbourne CBD. Any parking fees are kindly covered by the client.
